Steve was born and raised in Yorkshire, and graduated with a degree in business studies at the University of Huddersfield. He moved to Jersey in 1996 and has gained a comprehensive business knowledge in numerous sectors, including; insurance, lending, banking, credit, mortgages and compliance.

Since 2006, Steve has been involved in numerous successful new start-ups in Jersey. He was the founding principal of Acorn Mortgages and instrumental in their success as Business of the Year at the 2009 Jersey Enterprise Awards. Steve manages his own successful consultancy service, specialising in financial management, corporate governance, compliance and business development. He advises numerous small to medium sized Jersey companies in various capacities, including non-executive director. He is proud to have been involved with the establishment and growth of Christie’s International Real Estate | Hunt Estates since their formation in 2015.

Steve is a self-confessed Bruce Springsteen fan, regularly travelling overseas to see him perform in concert. He is a keen supporter of his hometown rugby league club, Leeds Rhinos, and keeps active with regular gym visits and he has a passion for wildlife, nature, walking and photography.
