Grouville is one of two easterly parishes and includes Gorey which is the main, picturesque village. The parish is home to the Royal Jersey Golf Course and is overlooked by the impressive 13 century Mont Orgueil Castle (or Gorey Castle) built to protect the island from French invasion.
Grouville Primary School is located opposite the Golf Course. There are a number of shops in the village of Gorey. Grouville also has a lovely sandy beach and along the harbour there is a good selection of places to eat. Many homes in Grouville enjoy sea views.
