On the east coast, St Martin is a large parish with a lovely coast line. It features the beautiful Rozel Bay and pretty harbour. St Catherine is popular with fishermen and young people learning to sail.

The village of Maufant is on the main road heading towards St Martin’s Church. Ransoms Garden centre is located in St Martin. St Martin’s Primary School and nursery is located next door to the Parish Hall. There are some fine traditional houses in St Martin, surrounded by fields.
