St Helier is the capital of Jersey and is the most urban of the parishes where approximately a third of the population live. It is also the centre for the International Finance sector. Key attractions in St Helier are the Jersey Museums, including: Elizabeth Castle, Fort Regent Leisure Centre, Town Library, Cineworld, Aquasplash, a variety of restaurants, nightclubs, bars, coffee shops.

The town centre, the fruit, flower and vegetable market plus the fish market can also be found here. The Jersey General Hospital, Police and Fire Services are all located in the town. Parks in St Helier include the People’s Park, Millennium Town Park, The Parade and Howard Davis Park. The developing marina is surrounded by new apartments and a Radisson Hotel with views to Elizabeth Castle and across St Aubin’s Bay
